We are looking for an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
- Keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a diesel mechanic preferred
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems
- Experience with electrical and computer diagnostic systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
